Wellness. Its about nutrition, not diets.
The first question I get when working with a new client or customer and the world-class line of nutritional products that I represent is, "Do I have to do this for the rest of my life?" To which my response is, "Its about getting the proper nutrition - NOT jumping on a fad diet and getting burnt out on that."
New diets come out every year in the same way new clothing designs come out of fashion week in New York City every year. Atkins is bankrupt. You need carbs. Your appetite tells you to EAT. But EAT SOMETHING HEALTHY!
Its about making gradual lifestyle and dietary changes and developing positive habits. Thus, if you DO do that, you should WANT to continue to do it for the rest of your life. Make it about the life in your years not the years in your life.
I'd rather go out in a blaze of glory at age 50 while living my life to the fullest than live to be 80 and fading out to nothingness. Yes you have to change. But if you don't want to jump in head first, then change gradually and work more and more positive things into your routine as you go. Do that to head in the right direction without getting burnt out and quitting again. Your body will thank you for it and it will pay dividends in the future.
